ShareKit – iOS Sharing Made Easy
Here’s a cool tool for iOS development. Nate Weiner of Idea Shower created ShareKit to help developers add sharing capabilities to apps with just 3 lines of code. You can customize the code for your needs, but the best part about ShareKit is that its completely free to use in any app under the MIT Open Source License.

How to Implement DoubleClick Floodlight Tags

Facebook Gating – Don’t Lock Out Your Customers
There are two things wrong with the image above, which is the first screen you’ll see when you fire up the Highlight iOS app. The first is the logo, but I’ll let someone with some design experience tackle that one. The second and more important thing is the Facebook login. This is something I’ve been seeing more and more often. This blog post was inspired by seeing this screen and by Mullen’s Election Protection campaign for JetBlue. I was checking it out when it asked me to log in with my Facebook and offered no alternatives (although since the contest is over now, you can’t see for yourself). So here we are.

Hands on with Xbox SmartGlass
At E3, I was wowed by a demonstration of Microsoft’s SmartGlass. The application brought a second screen to the Xbox 360 experience, offering an alternative way to control the device through the use of a smartphone. About 5 months later, Smartglass has arrived.
