Microsoft’s New Brand Identity Falls Short
Last week Microsoft presented its new, highly-anticipated brand identity. It is the first logo design in 25 years for the Redmond tech giant. In preparation of exciting new product launches such as Windows 8, Windows Phone 8 and several store openings, Microsoft also decided to redesign their brand identity. However, Microsoft’s new direction has been received so far with mixed emotions.

Mad Decent Block Party at Los Angeles Center Studios
If you’re not already checking out Echo Park Rising next weekend (or if you’re simply more party oriented), Mad Decent Block Party will be hitting our home turf of Los Angeles Center Studios next Saturday, August 25th. Pretty Much the Coolest Mod Ever Goes Standalone
In an announcement earlier this morning, Bohemia Interactive stated via Tumblr that they will be developing their popular mod DayZ as a standalone game. For those not in the know, DayZ is a modification for first person shooter Arma II that puts players in a post-Soviet post-apocalypse, fighting against zombies and other players for survival.
