If the ticket price of a weekend at Coachella scared you away from Indio this year, not to fear. Luckily for Los Angeles, there’s a cheap and (more importantly) worthwhile alternative in Brokechella, the one-day downtown music festival. Tickets are only $10 bucks (and $5 if you pre-order) for a full day of great music.

Mad Decent Block Party at Los Angeles Center Studios

If you’re not already checking out Echo Park Rising next weekend (or if you’re simply more party oriented), Mad Decent Block Party will be hitting our home turf of Los Angeles Center Studios next Saturday, August 25th. Echo Park Rising – A Free Music Festival on 8/25

If you’re around Los Angeles on August 25th, you should plan to check out Echo Park Rising, a free music festival presented by 98.7fm taking place all across Echo Park from 11AM to the wee hours of the morning. In addition to the wide variety of bands playing, there will also be a ton of great art to check out and food to chow down on.
